I have had some interesting roles before coming to Ashton – from being a van driver and bar work to working in home care.
I think I am seen as a warm and friendly person and I really enjoy the contact I have with our residents and their families, talking can make such a difference.
The staff at Ashton really make this a special place to work too – we all try to keep a smile on each other’s face.
I enjoy cooking for my husband and sons and also like to get the sewing machine out which is quite different to driving a 7.5 ton lorry around London – something I have also been known to do!
